Great Grandma Bowles

We spent a day at Great Grandma Bowles' house this week. Grandma planned so many fun activities for the little great grand kids. We planted pumpkin plants in Grandma's garden and are so excited to see how much they grow and pick our pumpkins in October. A little bird nest fell out of Grandma's pine tree and she saved it to show all the kids. Grandma talked about how birds make their nests out of twigs and feathers and then lay eggs in them. After that, we searched underneath the tree for broken egg shells and found a few. It was very fun! Maya loved searching for the shells and still talks about the bird nest. We also gathered big pine cones and plan to make bird feeders out of them sometime soon, I'm excited to do that! Grandma fixed us a delicious lunch and we ate it outside. We had so much fun making lasting memories and playing with Great Grandma Bowles!
