Wish I had my camera...
So, I wish I had my camera to snap a picture of one of our funniest moments this week. I guess a rendition of what happened will have to do.
We were over at the Gough's house playing the other day. Maya and Levi were upstairs having fun while we Mom's were visiting in the kitchen. We suddenly heard Levi yell downstairs, "Mom where are my goggles?!" Erin replied, " I don't know honey look in your room." Cute Levi didn't like that answer, "Mom just come find them!" he said. Well thank heavens he insisted because our two little angles decided to take a bath. The tub was running and about an inch from the top, both children were naked noonies, and water was all over the bathroom! It was the funniest thing, we took a look laughed and then started to clean up. Needless to say we had a talk about how dangerous taking baths by yourself can be and made them vow to never do that again.
The best part was when I told Maya it was time for a bath she replied, "I already took one and Levi's house."

Happy Anniversary!
This year Cory and I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary. I feel like we have been married for much longer! Maybe it's because so much has happened in those four years; graduating college, buying our first home, and having two children. Needless to say they have been wonderful years and I'm so excited to see what the next fifty plus hold!
To celebrate, we spent a few days together in St. George. The Burt's watched Maya and Cohen so it was children free and wonderful. We did some shopping, slept in (and all night with out interruption!), saw a movie, went hiking, and ate out! I have noticed that one of my favorite things about being "out of town" is getting to eat out. I always think about what places I want to eat at and what I want to get in advance. I love Cory for indulging me in this quirk and always letting me choose where we go!

Fun at Grandma's

We usually spend one day a week at Grandma Leslie's house (Maya decided that's what she wanted to call her!). Last time we were there Grandma cleaned off the back patio with the wind blower thing (I can't remember what it is really called) and Maya loved when she got her with it! So much fun and lots of laughs!
Rain, Rain, Go Away...

The sunny weather keeps teasing us. We still are having spring showers and I am trying to make them as fun as possible! This past week we made fruit loop necklaces. Maya loved making onebut couldn't wait to be finished so she could gobble it up. Then we painted with water colors, Maya is becoming a great little artist. Cohen of course had fun sitting on his blanket and being surrounded by toys.
We are excited for warmer and sunnier days ahead, we can't wait for swimming!!

Flying a Kite
This year we introduced kites to Maya. The first time Cory helped her fly it he put her on his shoulders and ran around while she held the kite. Now she thinks this is the ONLY way you can fly a kite, thanks dad! I have tried showing her you can fly a kite without being on someone's shoulders and them running. That was obviously not as fun so needless to say flying kites can be a fun workout for me!

Our Family
I am attempting to start a blog. This would be my second attempt. The first time around I was a pretty lame blogger and was tired of being informed of that. Suddenly I feel a new zeal for blogging (maybe because I recently have become addicted to reading other blogs?) and am ready to give it a more wholehearted effort.
